LIGHT PAINTING IN CHISLEHURST CAVES
Friday 19th October 2018
Join Olympus Ambassador Marcus Clackson for a one-of-a-kind light painting workshop in the depths of Chislehurst Caves. The caves have been home to many things, including (but not limited to); wartime munitions, mushroom & rhubarb cultivation in the 30s, a huge WW2 Air Raid shelter in the 40s and a live music venue in the 60s and 70s! The likes of David Bowie, The Who, Jimi Hendrix, The Rolling Stones and Pink Floyd have all performed here. Latterly the caves have been used as a filming location for numerous TV programmes, films and videos, including Merlin, Dr Who and Fungus the Bogey Man.
Now it’s our turn to put on a show! We’ll be shooting using Olympus cameras’ Live Composite mode to create incredible compositions at locations throughout the cave system. And of course, you’ll be joined by our Olympus experts, who will be on-hand with loan equipment for you to test out our award-winning range of kit, answer any ‘techie’ questions you may have and dish out first-hand photographic advice. This is a great opportunity to try the new OM-D E-M1 Mark II – with its innovative features and stunning low-light capabilities you’ll have no problem capturing something amazing.
